Since 1997, Tamarind Tree Garden Resort in Katunayake has welcomed travellers into a serene sanctuary, where lush gardens, spacious accommodations, and thoughtful design create a peaceful, rejuvenating escape. Just 10–15 minutes from Bandaranaike International Airport and 20 minutes from Negombo Beach, our resort offers easy access while preserving tranquillity.

Our story began with an Italian entrepreneur who established a successful business in the Katunayake Free Trade Zone. Inspired by Sri Lanka’s natural beauty, he transformed a coconut estate into Tamarind Tree Garden Resort, combining Italian architectural principles with open gardens and calm surroundings. Initially serving expatriates, we gradually opened our doors to international guests, creating the unique retreat we are today.
