~ After returning home ~
Right after coming back to Japan, I realized that I was gently wrapped in a feeling of happiness, for no particular reason at all.
Normally, after a break, switching back into work mode feels a bit heavy. But this time, I feel calm, soft, and quietly fulfilled. When you feel happy, you naturally become kinder - and somehow, just being alive feels easy and light. I didn’t notice it while I was in Sri Lanka, but now I’m beginning to realize, little by little, after returning to my everyday life in Japan:
when the doshas are in balance, maybe simply being alive is enough to feel
happiness.
Ayurveda... it’s kind of amazing, isn’t it?

I felt relieved
The therapists’ skills were amazing
Especially the shoulder and neck massage — I fell asleep while sitting
No.11 Power House is a must-see
Good Market is a must when sightseeing in Colombo
The schedule was perfectly planned, and everyone involved was so kind and

A memorable experience participating in a Sri Lankan New Year ritual
I was truly supported by the warm hospitality of Minako,
the Japanese contact at Tamarind Tree
Hello!
I returned to Japan yesterday.
My journey to Sri Lanka, and my stay at Tamarind Tree, without a doubt became a
major turning point in my life
Minako-san, thank you so much for creating a “window to Japan” for us
Without your SNS and the website you created, I don’t think this trip would have
turned into something that truly moved my heart or led me to take action and say, “I
want to go. I’ll go.”
Thank you for this wonderful encounter
I truly feel that I’ve discovered an Ayurveda resort that I will want to return to
again and again in the future.
After returning home, I shared my experience with my family, and my husband said
he would like to go as well.
I think he may end up visiting on his own one day.
...If I keep talking about how moved I was, it will never end, so I’ll stop here
Thank you very much for your careful communication with the hotel and for kindly
answering all of my many questions
I look forward to the day when I can meet you in person somewhere, someday ♡
I think everyone has moments in life that become turning points.
For me, those moments were when I left my career as a beautician and began
studying psychology,
and when I gave birth to my first child.
This journey felt like one of those moments.
The destination of this trip was
@tamarindtree_ayurveda_jp
During the week I spent there,
it didn
’t feel like a major reset or a dramatic transformation,
but rather as if I had been quietly born anew.
Somehow, both in body and mind,
it felt like being discharged from the maternity ward after giving birth,
holding a newborn in my arms.
Now, I’m watching gentle snow fall
from the window of my home.
Slowly,
I want to let this experience permeate my body and mind
and allow it to settle into my everyday life.
And as the changes and realizations within my body and mind
slowly mature and ferment,
I don’t want to rush.
I want to express them through writing,
as a record of my connection with the world. I’m back in Japan now.
And someday, I
’ll return to Sri Lanka again.
“I’m looking forward to seeing you again.
”
@ayurvedatamarindtree
Thank you so much.
I arrived safely in Kumamoto! It’s cold here, and my days in Sri Lanka already feel like a dream Still, I’m relieved to be home. Yesterday’s half-day Colombo tour was wonderful as well. Our Blue FIT driver, Nolan, was incredibly attentive, kind, and thoughtful, and he helped us so much throughout the day. It’s easy to see why he’s so popular with Japanese guests. We visited No.11 Power House, a gallery café with the same architectural design, and a temple, all comfortably within three hours I’ll send you a few photos shortly.
Dear Minako,
Thank you very much for arranging our trip to Sri Lanka.
If I hadn’t met you and Yama, I probably wouldn’t have been able to experience
such a meaningful journey. I’m truly grateful for this wonderful connection.
Wishing you continued good health and happiness from the bottom of my heart.

A True Resort Experience!
This was my first visit to Sri Lanka and my first experience with Ayurveda, and I truly enjoyed
every moment from the heart.
Tamarind Tree’s beautiful natural surroundings, the warm and attentive hospitality of the
staff, and above all, the opportunity to receive truly authentic, high-quality Ayurveda
treatment-there is nowhere else quite like this.
The doctors provided thorough explanations and detailed consultations, with Japanese-language
support available, which made the experience especially reassuring.
